Full day sight-seeing tour around Hanoi – the charming capital surrounded with lakes and tree shaded boulevards: visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Presidential Palace as well as Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Follow this with a visit to the interesting Vietnam Ethnology museum.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, site of Vietnam’s first university, dating back to the 11th century, walk around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, visit Dong Xuan market, Restored Sword Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Evening: enjoy Enjoy Water Puppet show – an unique traditional art of Vietnam.

Depart for Mai Chau in the early morning. Upon arrival at Lac village, which is home to the Thai people, have lunch in a traditional house on stilts with a Thai family. Then drive to Xa Linh village, from here start 3 days/2nights trekking tour: walk along the gravel tracks and small paths to Hang Kia village, home of the H’mong Minority people. Dinner and overnight stay at a traditional house of H’mong family.

Today you will truly get off the beaten track when trekking through tropical rain forest and passing through several White Thai villages. Picnic lunch will be provided at Cay Nam village by afternoon. Continue trekking tour to Ban Buoc village of the Thai. Have dinner and stay overnight as guests of the Thai family in a traditional house on stilts.

Morning trek to Mai Hich village. Bus pick-up and transfer back to Lac village. After lunch depart Mai Chau for Hai Phong – the biggest port city in Northern Vietnam. On arrival, check-in hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Start the morning with a city tour of Hai Phong. Visit Du Hang Pagoda and Hang Kenh Communal House before transfer to Cat Ba Island by hydrofoil. Bus pick-up at Gia Luan pier and transfer to hotel for check-in.

Full day visit Cat Ba National park: take a bus ride along the coast to reach Cat Ba National Park. Visit Kim giao forest, Knight peak, then have long trek across the dense jungle and Frog lake to reach the peaceful fisherman village of Viet Hai. Picnic lunch. Bus pick-up from Viet Hai village and transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon.

Leave Cat Ba island by cruising boat, head to Halong. The cruising gives you the chance to discover the most beautiful scenery of Halong Bay, one of the World Natural Heritage. Fresh seafood lunch will be served after visiting some of the limestone caves in the area. Drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon, visit Dong Trieu ceramic village en route.

Free until transfer to Hanoi railway station for the night train to Hue.

Arrive in Hue in the morning, transfer to the restaurant for breakfast. Continue exploring the romantic city of Hue: take a boat trip on the Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda, tomb of King Tu Duc. Then drive down the coast road passing over the spectacular Sea cloud pass, head for Danang – the biggest port in central Vietnam. Upon arrival visit Cham Museum and stone carving village at the foothill of Marble mountains. Proceed to Hoian – the charming ancient town quietly nestled by Thu Bon river, one of Vietnam’s most prosperous port town in 15^th century. Check-in hotel and relax.

Transfer to airport for flight to Hochiminh city. Meet and transfer to the city centre. After a short rest, start sight-seeing tour around Hochiminh city – the biggest and mostl lively city of Vietnam: visit the Reunification Hall (the former President Palace), War remnant museum, Thien Hau pagoda, China town, Binh tay market, and make some photo stops along the way at Notre Dame cathedral and Central Post Office.

Today you are heading the outskirt of Hochiminh city to explore the famous Cuchi underground tunnel – the historical site that once stretched over 210km during the American-Vietnam war. Proceed to Tayninh and join the unique Caodaism mass at Cao Dai Holy Land.

Back to Hochiminh city by late afternoon, visit brick kilns on the way.

Head to My Tho and explore the mythical Mekong river delta – upon arrival visit Vinh Trang pagoda, then take a boat trip to islets full of bonsai & orchard garden, handicraft work shops and local house made of coconut trees, where you are hosted with honey bee tea, seasonal fruits and folk music.

Back to Hochiminh City in the afternoon. Check in hotel and relax.
