Arrive in Hochiminh city, meet at the airport then transfer to hotel (Check-in time : 14h00).

The rest of the day is free, either relax at the hotel or explore the surrounding shops and restaurants.

Take an excursion to My Tho in order to explore the mythical Mekong river delta – upon arrival visit Vinh Trang pagoda, then take boat trip to islets full of bonsai & orchard garden, handicraft work shops and local house made of coconut trees, where you are hosted with honey bee tea, seasonal fruits and folk music.

Back to Hochiminh city by late afternoon. Check in hotel and relax.

Start sight-seeing tour around Hochiminh city – the biggest and most lively city of Vietnam: visit the Reunification Hall (the former President Palace) and make some photo stops along the way at Notre Dame cathedral and Central Post Office.

Then transfer to airport for flight to Danang. Meet & transfer to Hoian – the charming ancient town quietly nestled by Thu Bon river, one of Vietnam’s most prosperous port town in 15th century. Check-in hotel and relax.

Morning: walking tour to visit Hoian: Fujian congregation hall, Japanese covered bridge, ancient house, lantern factory and of course, the local market with variety handmade goodies to choose from.

In the afternoon transfer to Hue – the World Cultural Heritage, the former capital of Vietnam from 1802 – 1945 : visit Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, built in the 19th century by the Emperors of Nguyen Dynasty – last feudal dynasty in Vietnam, stop at Dong Ba central market.

Continue exploring the romantic city of Hue: take boat trip on the peaceful Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda, tomb of King Tu Duc.

Afternoon: transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Meet & transfer to hotel for check-in & relax.

Depart Hanoi for Ha Long City. On arrival embark the deluxe junk for 2days/1 night cruising tour around the picturesque Halong bay – the World natural heritage. Explore Surprising cave and enjoy swimming at Titop beach. Fresh sea food lunch and dinner served on board. Other interesting activities: kayaking, night fishing…etc.

Start your day early with a Tai-chi course on the junk’s terrace and breathtaking sunrise view at Bai Tu Long Bay. Proceed to visit Bai Tu Long Bay and Luon lagoon. Buffet brunch is served on board. Back to the shore, transfer back to Hanoi, visit Dong Trieu ceramic village en route.

Afternoon: walking tour around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, visit Restored Sword Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Transfer to airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Meet and transfer to check-in your hotel.

Afternoon: visit National museum (former King’s palace) which displays a collection of personal artifacts of the Royal family. Continue to visit the nearby Wat Mai temple, climb the Phousi hill to enjoy the scenic sunset view over the former royal capital and the Mekong river. Visit Wat Visoun temple with its Singhalese-style stupa, That Makmo, and Wat Aham.

After breakfast visit Wat Xieng Thong – considered the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang with roofs sweeping low to the ground presented Laos architecture. Then take a traditional riverboat for a 2 hr cruise upstream Mekong river towards Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong river to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum – where hundreds of Buddha statues were left behind by pilgrims. Stop at Ban Xang Hai village on the way, where sticky rice wine distillation procedure can be seen.

Return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong, where traditional mulberry leaves paper is also produced.
